A fun weekend. Shelter Cove is such a quaint, off the beaten path trip. We hiked redwoods and it was amazing!

Wonderful location with a great view. The place was very comfortable and Marc did an amazing job as host. There were plenty of fresh towels, clean home, and welcome gifts all over. We traveled with our two kids and two dogs and two friends, for a weeklong vacation; everybody felt refreshed when we left! Shelter Cove offers amazing and pristine beaches. It’s distance from the highway is more than made up for by the untouched natural landscape. Just a heads up, cell service is rather poor in the area!
Marc is an amazing host. He's so sweet and helpful. We stayed 5 days and loved every minute. His home is absolutely gorgeous and waking up to the view of the ocean is breathtaking. We loved everything about it. There is so much to do. Fishing was amazing and beaches are beautiful. We caught 7 perch and a 52in leopard shark. The tide pools had so much life, we spent hours looking at all of the animals. Including the many seals just 20 ft away. The hike down Black Sands beach was an incredible experience. We can’t wait to come again and the trip was definitely a 5-star vacation all around.
